{Preview} Lauryn + Tim | Ashelynn Manor Daytime Wedding | Houston Area Wedding Photography

Lauryn and Tim were married at the lovely Ashelynn Manor Last Sunday and it was absolutely magical. The weather had predicted 80% chance of rain, but with the adorable chapel and lavish reception hall it didn't pose a problem. Luckily, the day could not have been more beautiful and we were Blessed with beautiful skies that allowed us to utilize the stunning outdoor areas this venue has to offer as well. Lauryn, Tim and their bridal party were a dream to work with. Their families were beaming with pride, and you could feel just how right these two were for one another.  Here are some of my favorites for the beautiful couple to enjoy while on their honeymoon at Disney! When Tim won Lauryn's hand in marriage- He wanted to go to Disney!

Mommy and Me | The Woodlands, TX | Family Photography

As a mother of three, one of my absolute favorite types of sessions to book are the oh so special Mommy and Me portraits! These are the images that will document the everlasting love you have for your children, and the love they have for you in return. When photographing these session I aim to capture the connection and bond you have.  I love when you play and interact and talk about what you love most about each other. The little faces and expressions you get are beyond adorable and I hope they are what will tug at your heart strings when looking back on these heirloom images. When Nikki and I had our initial styling consultation she said she wanted a bohemian feel that incorporated some femininity. She choose a long crimson dress with delicate straps, and a flowing cream top with floral print leggings for her little one. The both looked stunning! All of my sessions come with digital files for easy sharing online, and most include a print credit as well. I urge you to print the images you wish to pass down. Discs and USB drives can often fail, but the paper images that I rummage through at my grandmother's house have never failed us. A yearly family album is a great way to archive your growing love for one another.

Lauryn & Tim's Engagement Session | The Woodlands, TX | Wedding Photography

I am delighted to be photographing Lauryn and Tim's wedding later this year. As a wedding photographer one of my favorite moments is your engagement session. I utilize this time by learning more about your love story and how it began, how it's been, and where it is leading. I make sure to note subtle tendencies that will portray exactly who you are in your portraits. I always tell my couples to be themselves and snuggle up the same way they would at home on the sofa. My goal is for you to look back on these images and instantly recognize that same loving look he still gives you, or the same sweet way she melts into your chest each and every evening. Your engagement session is the first step in the adventure that is wedding planning. You'll use these love-filled images for announcements, save the dates, to display at your wedding, and to cherish for a lifetime. If you are newly engaged please send me an email using the contact form, I would love to speak with you about the wedding packages that I offer and get your Engagement Session scheduled.

Jennie & Kevin's Wedding | Moffitt Oaks Rustic Wedding Venue | Tomball, Texas

Besides the fact that Jennie and Kevin were outstanding people with hearts of gold and children to match, their wedding was a dream to photograph! When Jennie and I had our initial phone consultation and she told me of the beautiful details she had been planning and I was over the moon! All of the bridesmaids in muted pastels and a rustic feel throughout the entire incredible venue at Moffitt Oaks in Tomball, Texas. Her florals were simple, but stunning with tons of baby's breath and succulents. The bridal party was so sweet and it was a joy working with them while getting ready. Hair and Make up team were so polite and professional and did an amazing job styling the ladies and prepping them for this beautiful occasion. The ceremony was full of emotion and love. The reception full of fun and dancing! A perfect wedding. Here are just some of my favorites from that very special day!!
