While I do offer free in person consultations, sometimes the first time I meet the special couple {{who so carefully chose me to document their wedding day}} on the day of their engagement portraits. This was the case with Lisa & Joey, and I must say that I was immediately drawn to their quirky personalities. Their original session has been rescheduled due to rain and much to our surprise, the rain would show itself on their second attempt as well. After a quick regrouping we decided to stick it out and try to get some gorgeous rainy day shots. Lisa explained that their first date was very rainy, and it might have just been "meant to be that way". After seeing the results I couldn't agree more. Their images are intimate and lovely and warm despite the cool crisp air and sprinkles of rain that were upon us. Love conquers all.
