The Woodlands | Family Photographer | Belden Family at Kleb Woods Nature Preserve in Tomball, TX

Every year on Mother's Day I invite you all to tag a wonderful Mom who deserves to win a free family session. This year our winner was the lovely Danielle and her sweet family. I am so glad her dear friend thought to tag this stunning lady because her graceful spirit warmed my heart this instant we spoke about styling her sunset family portrait session. We chose a fun new location that I had yet to explore and it proved to be lovely with lush green foliage , rustic barn backdrops and some quaint little historical homes as well. Mom choose a color palate of deep blues and lighter aquas that poped against the more natural colors like green and brown that the location provided. The shutters on one of the little house were even painted blue- how perfect! Below I have shared some of my favorite images from this shoot and I hope you'll enjoy them as much as I have. If you are interested in your own family portrait session, I am booking into this Fall and would love to have you!! Have a look at the pricing guide and contact me if you have any questions at all- I am here to walk you through every step of your heirloom portrait experience. We're also on #instagam

Lauryn and Tim were married at the lovely Ashelynn Manor Last Sunday and it was absolutely magical. The weather had predicted 80% chance of rain, but with the adorable chapel and lavish reception hall it didn't pose a problem. Luckily, the day could not have been more beautiful and we were Blessed with beautiful skies that allowed us to utilize the stunning outdoor areas this venue has to offer as well. Lauryn, Tim and their bridal party were a dream to work with. Their families were beaming with pride, and you could feel just how right these two were for one another.  Here are some of my favorites for the beautiful couple to enjoy while on their honeymoon at Disney! Blake Gets a Brother | The Woodlands Maternity Photography | Sunlit Maternity Session

You might remember The Parker's from past favorite sessions of mine. They are stylish and fun with a loving bond, and I am always excited to document their milestones. As a portrait photographer there is nothing that makes me happier than seeing your family grow. Creating a bond with your children makes our time shooting fun, relaxing, and enjoyable for all of us! I love all of the little (and big) friends I have made throughout my photography journey. With your permission I do provide non messy snacks and fun trinkets like stickers or bubbles at the end of our session. My goal is for your portrait session to be a fun family outing where mom looks her best, dad is so proud of the unit he created, and your children leave with big grins and hopes for another session soon. I always have fun with my little pal, Blake and I can not wait to see how handsome his little brother will be. Brittany and Ryan are fabulous parents with an intense love for one another and hearing that they decided to expand their already perfect family made my heart happy. Upon discovering this new location I knew it would be ideal for their sunset maternity session in The Woodlands. I am always on the hunt for new and exciting locations that provide gorgeous natural light, cascading fields, and other beautiful landscapes we can utilize. Providing variety for my repeat clients is crucial to me, and also fulfilling as an artist. Here are a few favorite shots from their stunning maternity session.

Senior Portrait Session | 2016 Senior Model Emily | The Woodlands, TX Portrait Photography

Working with seniors is always a fun and rewarding experience. This year I wanted to start off the year with an amazing team of senior representatives that were outgoing and engaging, so I put out a model call on my facebook page. One of my regular clients quickly tagged Emily and I couldn't be more thrilled that we were able to work together. Her mother Melinda and I discussed all of the details and I was happy to find out that I seemed to have found the perfect candidate for my program this year. I developed a point system that rewards you for interacting on social media outlets like facebook and instagram. You'll also earn big points for any direct referrals from your friends or family! These points will translate into monetary credits that you can use toward digital files, graduation cards, or any of the professionally printed products I offer. Did I mention that your *entire* session fee is also waived?  I always have some extra outfits and accessories available to look through and choose from. You are welcome to bring all of your own styling- but I do like to give a few fun extras you might not have thought about. We were honored to have Paulina with Luca-Love Bracelets stop in and provide some extra styling as well. I want my senior girls to feel as beautiful as they are- professional hair & make up is provided for every session! Cristina is my Go-To girl for enhancing their best features while staying age appropriate. The outpouring of tears when Emily saw her look completed speaks volumes. I think we all shed a tear when she couldn't hold hers back. Just me? :) It made my heart very happy to see that she felt so beautiful and I could not wait to get her on location at the gorgeous spot I had chosen for her here in The Woodlands, TX. When scouting I immediately thought this would make a great Senior Spot. The light during her sunset portrait session was absolutely breathtaking and made for a lovely, warm backdrop. This location provides an amazing set of steps, a modern pergola with tons of vines and greenery, some great colored backdrops and more! Emily was a natural in front of the camera and we had a great time working through poses. I've compiled my favorites for you to enjoy- and I hope that you do!!

Rainy Day Engagement Session | Houston Area Wedding Photography | Lisa & Joey

Rainy Day Engagement Session | Houston Area Wedding Photography | Lisa & Joey

While I do offer free in person consultations, sometimes the first time I meet the special couple {{who so carefully chose me to document their wedding day}} on the day of their engagement portraits. This was the case with Lisa & Joey, and I must say that I was immediately drawn to their quirky personalities. Their original session has been rescheduled due to rain and much to our surprise, the rain would show itself on their second attempt as well. After a quick regrouping we decided to stick it out and try to get some gorgeous rainy day shots. Lisa explained that their first date was very rainy, and it might have just been "meant to be that way". After seeing the results I couldn't agree more. Their images are intimate and lovely and warm despite the cool crisp air and sprinkles of rain that were upon us. Love conquers all.  Each of my wedding day packages does include a full engagement session, so if you are newly engaged I would love to chat with you more about what I offer and set up your very own couples portrait session showcasing the everlasting love you have for one another. Here are my favorite images from Lisa and Joey's engagement session located in The Woodlands, TX this past fall. I am anticipating a lot of love and laughter at their wedding later this year.

Mommy and Me | The Woodlands, TX | Family Photography

As a mother of three, one of my absolute favorite types of sessions to book are the oh so special Mommy and Me portraits! These are the images that will document the everlasting love you have for your children, and the love they have for you in return. When photographing these session I aim to capture the connection and bond you have.  I love when you play and interact and talk about what you love most about each other. The little faces and expressions you get are beyond adorable and I hope they are what will tug at your heart strings when looking back on these heirloom images. When Nikki and I had our initial styling consultation she said she wanted a bohemian feel that incorporated some femininity. She choose a long crimson dress with delicate straps, and a flowing cream top with floral print leggings for her little one. The both looked stunning! All of my sessions come with digital files for easy sharing online, and most include a print credit as well. I urge you to print the images you wish to pass down. Discs and USB drives can often fail, but the paper images that I rummage through at my grandmother's house have never failed us. A yearly family album is a great way to archive your growing love for one another.

Lauryn & Tim's Engagement Session | The Woodlands, TX | Wedding Photography

I am delighted to be photographing Lauryn and Tim's wedding later this year. As a wedding photographer one of my favorite moments is your engagement session. I utilize this time by learning more about your love story and how it began, how it's been, and where it is leading. I make sure to note subtle tendencies that will portray exactly who you are in your portraits. I always tell my couples to be themselves and snuggle up the same way they would at home on the sofa. My goal is for you to look back on these images and instantly recognize that same loving look he still gives you, or the same sweet way she melts into your chest each and every evening. Your engagement session is the first step in the adventure that is wedding planning. You'll use these love-filled images for announcements, save the dates, to display at your wedding, and to cherish for a lifetime. If you are newly engaged please send me an email using the contact form, I would love to speak with you about the wedding packages that I offer and get your Engagement Session scheduled.

Jennie & Kevin's Wedding | Moffitt Oaks Rustic Wedding Venue | Tomball, Texas

Besides the fact that Jennie and Kevin were outstanding people with hearts of gold and children to match, their wedding was a dream to photograph! When Jennie and I had our initial phone consultation and she told me of the beautiful details she had been planning and I was over the moon! All of the bridesmaids in muted pastels and a rustic feel throughout the entire incredible venue at Moffitt Oaks in Tomball, Texas. Her florals were simple, but stunning with tons of baby's breath and succulents. The bridal party was so sweet and it was a joy working with them while getting ready. Hair and Make up team were so polite and professional and did an amazing job styling the ladies and prepping them for this beautiful occasion. The ceremony was full of emotion and love. The reception full of fun and dancing! A perfect wedding. Here are just some of my favorites from that very special day!!
